Delete Your Data
Chanom — charades word game
To have your account and its associated data deleted, email us with the subject "Delete my data". Send it from the email address linked to your account, or include your in-app user ID so we can find your data.

We acknowledge every request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Deleted data is purged from our backups within a further 90 days. There is no charge for this.
What gets deleted
- Your account record and the identifier assigned to your installation
- Your account email address, display name, and profile photo, if you signed in
- The custom categories and word lists you created
- The analytics identifiers linked to you
What we keep, and why
- In-app purchase records — retained for as long as tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law requires (typically up to 7 years). We cannot delete these on request while that obligation applies.
- Aggregated, anonymized data — retained indefinitely, because it can no longer be used to identify you.
Deleting the data on your device
Some data — game settings, saved word lists, and your coin balance — is stored only on your device, and we have no remote access to it. To remove it:
- Android — Settings → Apps → Chanom → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app
- iOS — delete the app
